Hi, I have a problem with opening the Adobe Zii 2020 5.0.8 file. In my Mac I installed Catalina, I tried to follow your explanations, to place the file on the trash but even if I open it from Catalina it won’t let me open the file. Method 2 – Right Click App. Instead of double clicking on the app, just right click and press Open. You will get a notice “Can’t be opened because apple cannot check it for malicious software.” however you will still get the option to open the program. Method 3 “Works for Mac OS Catalina”. To resolve Gatekeeper issues on macOS Sierra and unlock images and programs ( annoying image/application is damaged messages pretending you cannot open things ).
For that reason you might have to completely disable Gatekeeper checks, and to do that open your terminal and type:
sudo spctl –master-disable
**Enter your password and you’re done. Note that there are two (2) dashes before master. You might miss that while copy/pasting. So I will leave a screenshot below. I would suggest you type the command manually.
To verify that your operation was successful you need to Open Settings and verify that the Anywhere option is now visible as shown below.
