This MIDI driver supports Mac OS 11 “Big Sur” and Apple Silicon.This is an important update for those running Mac OS 11 “Big Sur”. This update supports Mac computers using the new Apple manufactured silicon processors.
For previous versions of Mac OS with Macs running Intel processors you can continue using USB MIDI driver 1.3.2-2.

- You are running Mac OS 11 “Big Sur”, either Intel or a Mac with Apple silicon-based processor, with Rosetta2. (Note that Mac OS versions before Mac OS 11 do not work on Apple silicon processors).
- Are connecting USB MIDI only instruments like the MOTIF series or reface. If you have MONTAGE, MODX, MX-Series, MOXF, CP Series or YC Series and use Mac OS 11 “Big Sur”, either Intel or Apple silicon processor, you’ll need the Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver located here.
